Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway
Did PhD research project, “Efficient hydrogen liquefaction processes”, a refrigeration laboratory experimental rig to produce 2 g/s of liquid hydrogen at -150 Celsius. Did system simulation in PRO/II. Participated in construction of the rig. Investigated and did the planned experiment. Analyzed the experimental results. And wrote a report and thesis.

Lecturer Air Conditioning and Refrigeration May 04 – Sep 05
KMITNB, Bangkok
Lectured courses throughout the academic year, including, “Refrigeration,” “Air Conditioning,” “Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Practice and Laboratories,” “Thermo-fluids,” and “Industrial Maintenance.” Taught all RHVAC courses for undergraduate-refrigeration-engineering students. Learned a lot from RHVAC demonstration packages, units and machines for teaching at Refrigeration Lab, Air Conditioning Lab, Thermo Lab, and Fluid Mechanic Lab. Knew a lot of application software. Including being a lot of student project advisors such as “Snow Ice Flake Machine”, “COLMSIM: Simulation Software for Refrigeration System Design”, “Small Two-stage Refrigeration Demonstration Package”, and “Computer Refrigeration Control Package Demonstration”.

R&D engineer May 02 – Oct 03
ITC Refrigeration Company Limited, Bangkok
Designed big industrial refrigeration system main components such as evaporative cooling towers, low side separator tanks, and intercooler tanks. Made details of product catalogues and wrote product selection software. Made component selection such as evaporators, piping systems, large compressors, low size separator tanks, intercooler tanks, evaporative cooling towers, etc. by using a lot of manufacturer’s software. Made cost estimation of system design of large 200-ton ammonia refrigeration systems for industrial cold room. Worked with senior engineers to help the design. Supervised a programmer to invent a selection software of company products. Made product catalogues. Wrote an experiment manual for a 5 ton demonstration package water-cooled air conditioning system and was a trainer to a group of lecturers from 12 universities. Taught how to operate the system to customers.

Design engineer Mar 01 – April 02
York Industrial (Thailand) Company Limited, Chonburi, Thailand
Designed small household air conditioning systems: used computer simulation software to design and size main components including electrical components and systems. Tested systems in calorimeter rooms. Designed several small to medium-sized package household air conditioners such as; the ones with R134a, propane, and absorption. Used AIRWARE, COPESIM, GENESIM, and HPRATE to make cycle simulation. Designed a lot of cooling coils. Used manufacturer selection software to make component selection such as the sizes of compressors, cooling coils, condensers, TXV, cap tube, wind speeds, and fans. Made BOM. Edited CAD/CAM and Solid Work product files. Supervised on hand-on fabricating of machine parts included welding and system charging. Supervised air conditioner performance tests in calorimeter rooms.
